Michael Strahan was in hysterics after he doubled down on a cheeky joke at FOX NFL Sunday co-panellist Jimmy Johnson’s expense.
The pair were working on week 17 of the NFL regular season on FOX, where they discussed the latest results across the league. Towards the end of the show – alongside Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long and host Curt Menefee – Johnson was giving an analysis of the Indianapolis Colts and New York Jets game when he was caught out by Strahan.
The 81-year-old said: “I’m really like old people…” He didn’t end up finishing this sentence before Strahan interrupted him with a cheeky jibe. The 53-year-old said: “You are old people. What are you talking about ‘like’, you are old people.”

This joke caused the rest of the FOX NFL panel to erupt into fits of laughter before Johnson was able to finish off his point on the Colts-Giants game.
He added: “I like Joe Flacco for Indy. And run the ball with Taylor.”
The laughter didn’t end there, however, as Strahan continued the gag when he was providing insight on the Las Vegas Raiders and New Orleans Saints game. He said: “I’m like middle-aged people. I like middle-aged people,” before predicting that Raiders would take the win.
Strahan once again took the win in the conversation as the Raiders would go on to win 25-10 over the Saints – but the Colts were handed an upset by the Giants, who beat them 45-33.
This Giants win was also a personal victory for Strahan, who starred for the New York team from 1993 until 2007, winning one Super Bowl with them.
The FOX NFL Sunday team will take on the final week of the regular season this weekend, as the play-off teams will officially be confirmed by the end of play on Sunday, January 5.
