Ralph Fiennes is bringing “demure” into 2025!

The actor, 62, reenacted Jools Lebron’s viral TikTok in a segment called “Recitations by Ralph” on New Year’s Eve Live with Andy Cohen & Anderson Cooper on Tuesday, Dec. 31.

A video posted on X (formerly Twitter) shows Fiennes quoting the TikToker, whose video shows off her professional workwear make-up and attire, saying, “See my shirt, only a little chichi out. Not my chocho.”

The Golden Globe nominee playfully moved aside his jacket for the bit, showing his exposed skin underneath his unbuttoned shirt.

Co-hosts Andy Cohen, 56, and Anderson Cooper, 57, giggled at the display, with the 60 Minutes correspondent ducking out of frame at one point.

“Be mindful of why they hired you. Here’s a reality check, diva. What’s the name you want me to make it out to?” He continued to quote Lebron, leaning closer to Cohen and looking into his eyes as he delivered the final line with a sassy shake of his head.

“Ladies and gentleman, Ray Fiennes,” Cohen said to wrap the segment. “Multiple Oscar nominees, up for a Golden Globes for Conclave.”

The Watch What Happens Live! host glanced at Cooper, who was doubled over in laughter.

The TikTok video has since lit up with mentions of the reenactment in the comments section. “Watching this again after Andy and Anderson NYE show,” one person wrote.

“Literally just watched Ralph Fiennes reenact this on NYE,” wrote another. “Insane.”

Lebron shared a video of her festive New Year’s Eve attire, which has also been flooded with comments about the reference on the popular broadcast.

“Ralph Fiennes monologuing ‘very demure’ with Andy and Anderson was iconic,” wrote one supportive follower. “We’re here for the duo, but Anderson stole the show.”

“Please tell me you saw your monologue on national TV by one of the greatest actors of this time,” wrote another person.

“I think Voldemort reciting your lines is better than receiving a Hogwarts letter,” penned another in reference to Fiennes’ iconic role.

Lebon’s TikTok video, in which she says the catchphrase “very demure, very mindful,” led to the word “demure” being announced as the 2024 word of the year by Dictionary.com in November.

“The word ‘demure’ experienced a meteoric rise in usage in 2024. Between January and the end of August, this term saw a nearly 1200% increase in usage in digital web media alone,” the announcement read. “This sharp rise is mainly attributed to TikToker Jools Lebron’s popularization of the phrase.”

Dictionary.com states that the term ‘demure’ means to be “characterized by shyness and modesty” and to be reserved.

Lebron told PEOPLE in an exclusive interview in August that she was inspired to film the TikTok because she liked her how makeup looked that day.

“I thought I looked particularly like a Bratz doll,” she said. “I saw a video saying how Barbie started very modest and demure and how her biggest competition Bratz was far from it. So I thought it was funny to say I was demure with my black winged eyeliner, giant lashes, blonde hair down to my thighs and acrylic nails.”

Meanwhile, Fiennes had a busy 2024 year that saw the release of his recent movies Conclave and The Return. He has several projects lined up, including the third film in the 28 Days Later series, 28 Years Later, and the British comedy The Choral.

The Menu actor told PEOPLE in December that he would like to star in a movie with his famous brother, Joseph Fiennes.

“I have no idea what kind of film it would be. It’d be nice if it wasn’t serious,” he said.
