Bryce James, the youngest son of NBA superstar LeBron James, has officially committed to play college basketball at the University of Arizona. The announcement came Wednesday via Bryce’s Instagram, where he shared his excitement about the next chapter in his basketball journey. The 6-foot-4 wing player currently competes for Sierra Canyon School in Los Angeles, a program renowned for producing top-tier basketball talent.

According to ESPN, James is a four-star recruit in the 2025 class, though he is ranked outside the top 100 prospects. Despite this, his skill set and potential have attracted significant attention, and his commitment marks a notable addition to Arizona’s recruiting class.

Born in Ohio, Bryce had drawn interest from his home-state school, Ohio State, and also received offers from Duquesne and USC. The latter held special significance, as his older brother, Bronny James, played for the Trojans during the 2023-24 season. Ultimately, Bryce chose to chart his own path with the Wildcats.

LeBron James expressed pride in his son’s decision, sharing a heartfelt congratulatory message on social media. “Proud of you, young king!” the Lakers star wrote, emphasizing the significance of the moment for the James family.

Arizona fans will undoubtedly keep a close eye on Bryce’s development as he prepares to make his mark at the collegiate level, continuing the legacy of one of basketball’s most iconic families.
