Marvel star Tom Holland has gone public with his relationship with co-star Zendaya, saying she is “the best thing that has ever happened to me”.
In an interview on the Dish podcast , released on December 18, Tom Holland revealed that the couple plans to spend Christmas together this year with Zendaya’s family .
“I’m going to be in America this year with my girlfriend’s family, which is going to be fun. Where we’re going to be is a secret,” he told podcast hosts Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett.

“I think getting the families together is something we want to do for Christmas. This time, because we’re both actors, we’re terrible at organizing things. So it hasn’t happened yet. The idea is still there,” he added.
While discussing his Christmas plans and talking about his cooking skills, Tom Holland said he’s “starting to experiment with a lot of vegan dishes” since Zendaya is vegan.
“I’ve been in Boston for the past few weeks and she’s been working so I’ve cooked a lot of dinners. But they’re not great. There have been a few times I’ve ordered takeout,” Tom said.
The couple, who met while filming Spider-Man: Homecoming , have kept their relationship out of the spotlight, only occasionally sharing photos of their relationship in interviews or on social media.
Zendaya has been a vegetarian since childhood.

Speaking about the benefits of appearing together on screen, Holland said it was a “blessing” to be together, adding: “It’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”
The British star said that logistically, working together was also cost-effective. “Studios love it, a hotel room,” Holland joked.
After appearing in three Spider-Man films together , the pair joined Christopher Nolan’s next project.
“The film hasn’t started filming yet. Honestly, I don’t know anything about it. It’s all very secretive. I met with Christopher. It was great. He talked a little bit about the film. And I’m sure when everything is ready, he will announce the project,” Tom Holland revealed.
